Jennifer Garner attended the Ghosts of Girlfriends Past premiere in L.A. last night and looked absolutely stunning. In an interview with TheInsider, Jennifer Garner commented on Matthew McConaughey’s authenticity. “What you see is what you get. He’s exactly the same here as he is on set, as he is any time I saw him off-set. He’s comfortable in his own skin and in a very, generous, kind way.” In the movie, Matt plays Conner, a bachelor that has left numerous broken hearts in his past. Jennifer plays Jenny, Conner’s childhood friend. Michael Douglas was also at the premiere. Ghosts of Girlfriends Past will be in theaters everywhere May 1.

We hope you’re as excited about the Ghosts of Girlfriends Past movie as we are! Jennifer Garner’s first movie since Juno will be released to theaters on May 1, 2009. Fans have high hopes for this romantic comedy with Matthew McConaughey. In the movie Conner (McConaughey) and the ghosts of his previous girlfriends try to discover what turned him into such a jerk and whether there is still a chance to find true love. Sure, it might sound corny, but with these two it must be good! The movie is rated PG-13 and will be distributed by New Line Cinema.
The release date for Jennifer Garner’s next movie is moving nearer. Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, with Matthew McConaughey, Lacey Chabert (Gretchen Wieners in Mean Girls), Emma Stone (Jules in Superbad), Michael Douglas and Christina Milian is set to be released on May 1st 2009. During production Jennifer was busy on the set but was still able to make time for her family. Those working on the movie noted that she was serious about her work and intent on getting the job done. A fun fact: Ben Affleck was originally set to play the lead role. That production was scrapped and Jennifer Garner was added to the new cast. It would have been interesting if the two had been in the movie together.
We haven’t updated in a while, but hopefully you’re as excited as we are about Jennifer’s upcoming movie. Ghosts of Girlfriends past is directed by Mark Waters (Mean Girls, Freaky Friday) and is set to be released in 2009. Filming wrapped up at the beginning of summer and the film is now in the post-production stage. Of course, as you probably know, Matthew McConaughey and Emma Stone also star in Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. It is great to see Jennifer Garner making time to make more movies even as she is so busy cashing Violet Affleck around.In the movie, McConaughey plays a womanizer who attends the wedding of his younger brother, where he is haunted by sevel of his ex-girlfriends including Jennife Garner. The film is similar to Dicken’s “A Christmas Carol.”
